Reader: To the person defending Adam Kokesh’s drug video

We don’t care what he does in the privacy of his home. Hell, if he wants he can dedicate the rest of his life to getting high and putting videos of it on the internet, so be it. All we are saying is that it’s really DUMB to do that while trying to advance the cause of liberty. What do you think typical Romney and Santorum voters seeing a video of Adam Kokesh (who is strongly associated with our movement) getting high is going to make them think of us? Do you honestly think somebody will be more likely to support Ron Paul if they see that people like Adam Kokesh are part of our movement, who do drugs and post videos of it online and talk about assassinating Mitt Romney? Promoting liberty is not the same as saying people SHOULD do whatever they want and do it publicly. We’re trying to persuade people to join our movement. Kokesh is making our lives a lot harder when he does this stuff.
